Josh Meier is a nature photographer and freelance writer working to protect our natural world out of respect for the past, for benefit of the present and as an obligation toward future generations.
A native of Tipton, Iowa, he now splits his time between there and Logan, Utah, and delights and draws inspiration in introducing his three year old son to the beauty of these varied landscapes, to National Parks, and everywhere between.
Holding degrees in Journalism and Sustainability from the University of Iowa, he is in tune to the many threats facing our environment and public lands, and through objective in-depth research, passionate writing and vivid photography he seeks to raise awareness of these challenges.
His ultimate goal is to be a voice of advocacy for our natural world and wild places, as both a gift and example to our children and grandchildren still to come.
